Shooting Investigation Delaying Traffic For Bridge Travelers In Camden Co.

The shooting happened in Philadelphia, but the investigation is impacting NJ's morning commuters.

PENNSAUKEN, NJ — New Jersey traffic on the Betsy Ross Bridge faces delays Monday morning because of a shooting under investigation in Philadelphia.

Shots were fired around 5 a.m. on Interstate 95, between Aramingo Avenue and the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge. Nobody was hurt in the shooting, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Drivers crossing the Betsy Ross to travel westbound into Philadelphia should expect delays on because of police activity on I-95, officials said around 8:30 a.m.
