'Significant Police Response' Underway In Cherry Hill: Authorities

CHERRY HILL, NJ — A "significant police response" is underway Thursday in Cherry Hill, police said.

Cherry Hill officers are operating at the 1200 block of S Union Avenue, the police department said around 4:45 p.m.

They did not immediately specify what prompted the response but said there are no known threats to the community.

South Union Avenue remains closed to all traffic as of this writing.

The block is off Route 70 and has a couple small commercial buildings.
