CHERRY HILL, NJ — The curriculum for the Cherry Hill School District's 2022-23 school year will be voted on during a board of education meeting Tuesday, a district spokesperson said.
Tuesday is also the first day of classes in the Cherry Hill School District.
The school district's administration "presented a proposal for the curriculum" for the 2022-23 school year to a committee on Aug. 30, Barbara Wilson, the district spokesperson, told Patch.

That proposal will be presented to the full Board of Education on Tuesday, "and the Board will vote on the curriculum that night," Wilson continued.
As Patch has previously reported, the new sexual education curriculum has caused concern in Cherry Hill and many other parts of the Garden State since its introduction by the Murphy administration earlier this year.

Parents unhappy with the Cherry Hill School District's Board of Education's decision on the new sexual education curriculum, regardless of what its decision is, can contact the Cherry Hill School District and opt their child out of the adopted curriculum, District Superintendent Joseph Meloche has previously said.
Children whose parents exercise this option would be "provided alternative lessons in an alternative location," Meloche said.
