2 Teens Hit By Car While Crossing Route 130 In Cinnaminson: Cops

A 19-year-old girl is in critical but stable condition after she and another teenager were hit by a car while crossing Route 130 Thursday.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — A teenager is in critical but stable condition after being hit by a car while walking across Route 130 in Cinnaminson Thursday night, police announced.

The 19-year-old Cinnaminson girl was one of two teenagers who was hit by the car, Cinnaminson police said Friday morning. The other, a 17-year-old Cinnaminson boy, is in stable condition.

A third teenager who was crossing the street with them, an 18-year-old boy from Marlton, was not hit by the car, but was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The driver of the car, an 18-year-old girl from Willingboro, was also taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The three youths were attempting to cross Route 130 at New Albany Road just before midnight Thursday when the accident happened, police said.

Witnesses told police they had been attempting to cross against the traffic signal. The driver had a green light, and attempted to swerve when she saw the teenagers crossing the street, police said.

The driver remained on location after the crash, police said.
