Stabbing Critically Injures Man In Burlington Co.; Investigation Underway: Police

The suspect stabbed the victim multiple times, authorities said.

BURLINGTON, NJ — A suspect is in custody after stabbing and critically injuring a man Monday night in the City of Burlington, authorities said.

The suspect, identified as Terrence Scott, stabbed the victim multiple times around 9:30 p.m. on the 100 block of Belmont Street, police said.

The victim was brought to Cooper Trauma Center, where he remains in critical condition as of Tuesday morning.

Scott was arrested at the scene and charged with attempted murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and endangering an injured victim. He's currently detained at the Burlington County Jail.
