Car Dealership Employee Confesses to Stealing: Police
The Palmyra man allegedly told police he stole tires and rims from Joshua Motor Car Co., where he worked.

A Joshua Motor Car employee confessed to stealing from his employer, then using a company car to transport the hot items in order to sell them, according to Palmyra Police.
Police were dispatched to Joshua Motor on Nov. 4 to investigate the theft of four tires and four Helo rims from the shop sometime overnight. After further investigation, police learned an employee—Adam Carney, 27, of Palmyra—may have been responsible, according to a report.
When brought in for questioning, Carney admitted to detectives that he’d stolen the tires and rims, valued at $2,000, and had also used a company-owned vehicle to take them to Oakhurst in order to sell them to another individual, police said.
