Don't Judge a Cat by its Cover

Two-year-old Gia is up for adoption at the Burlington County Animal Shelter.

My name is Gia and I'm a 2-year-old female tabico, which is a very beautiful combination of a tabby and a calico cat. I have gray, brown and orange striping. I also have the precious face of a classic American shorthair.

My vet said I am in good health, but scared at the shelter, which has caused me to overgroom myself. That's the reason my hair is very thin on half of my body. I'm a sweet and very affectionate kitty, and I'm sure once I am happily settled into my furrever home, all my gorgeous hair will grow back in. It's so sad how everyone judges me by my present look and walks on by even though I try to get their attention and show them I'm a beautiful kitty too.

Please give me a chance and come meet me at the Burlington County Animal Shelter, or you can call 609-265-5073. When asking about me be sure to use my ID #C-52586.
