The southpaw has had a unique career path as an undrafted free agent who scraped his way to the highest levels of professional baseball.

In October 2015, Singer signed a minor-league contract with the Phillies and competed for six years in different levels of the organization's farm system.
Early in the 2022 season, the Phillies placed Corey Knebel on the COVID list and promoted Singer to the majors. Singer suited up for one game but didn't make an appearance, giving him a unique distinction as a phantom ballplayer.
He had stints last season with two independent-league teams: the Kansas City Monarchs and the Maryland-based Spire City Space Hounds.
"My professional experience and unique approach will provide the traction necessary for athletes to hit the ground running," Singer says on his business's website. "I personally work with each trainee to help them achieve their individual athletic goals."
