He's No Pawn Star, She's No Employee of the Month

Cinnaminson police make two arrests for thefts—and the suspects allegedly didn't stray far for their loot.

It seems likely Frederick Rossi II will fall off of a few Christmas card lists this year after police said he stole from relatives and neighbors and pawned the items.

Rossi, 32, of the 100 block of Redstone Ridge in Delran, reportedly used Golden Jewelers in Cinnaminson to pawn the items. Ten different pawn slips from the jeweler prompted a monthlong investigation into Rossi’s activities, according to police.

The investigation revealed that Rossi stole items from two family members and thousands of dollars in jewelry from a neighbor over a two-week period, police said.

While officers recovered many of the items, the neighbor is still missing several thousand dollars in jewelry.

Rossi was charged with receiving stolen property and three counts of fencing (selling stolen property). He was released on $7,500 bail pending a court appearance.
