As the National Weather Service assesses the damage from Wednesday's storm, here's how much rainfall Burlington County saw Wednesday night.

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — The National Weather Service is set to investigate areas of New Jersey Thursday morning that saw significant damage and possible tornado activity during Wednesday night’s storm.
Burlington County was under a Tornado Warning Wednesday night, although it was unclear if one had hit the county.
"I can confirm that there have been sightings of a tornado that moved through area of Edgewater Park, Beverly and Burlington, but so far we have not confirmed whether it touched down anywhere, and we have received no reports of significant damages or injuries," Burlington County spokesman David Levinsky said in an email Wednesday night.

The storm that brought similar damage across the state led Gov. Phil Murphy to declare a statewide state of emergency Wednesday night. At least one person died, and two others were missing in Passaic, as floodwaters from the Passaic River inundated part of the city.
