BORDENTOWN, NJ — A man arranged a meetup to sexually assault a child at a Burlington County hotel last month, authorities said. Instead, he met the cops.
Hank West, 43, was charged with second-degree luring or enticing a child.
The Chester, Pennsylvania, resident communicated online with an undercover officer who he thought was a child, authorities said. He arranged to meet the officer Feb. 28 at a hotel in Bordentown, promising to bring root beer, according to the state attorney general's office.

West was arrested when he arrived.
Police found personal lubricant and a case of root beer in his vehicle, the attorney general's office said.
