Motown Music, Boot Camp Fitness Highlight Week Ahead

The weather should be beautiful this week. Let us know what else is going on (in case we missed something).

Weather-wise, it should be a pleasant week, with highs in the mid- to low 80s all week (and little chance of rain based on current forecasts), so why not stop by Wood Park Thursday night for a free performance by "South Jersey's No. 1 dance band."

To the Max, a Motown tribute band, will perform beginning at 7 p.m. as part of the township's summer-long concert series

Just in case, the rain location is right down the road at Cinnaminson Middle School.

On Friday, the Cinnaminson branch of the Burlington County Library will host a pre-beginner line dancing class. The free program starts at 1 p.m. Friday and runs throughout August. Call the library to sign up at 856-829-9340.

Also, don't forget: Boot camp classes are held every Monday at Memorial Park—one at 6:15 a.m., another at 6:15 p.m.—presented by Subversion Fitness owner Erika Camm.

The boot camps ($10 per class) consist of a variety of strength training, cardio and team relay exercises. All participants need to bring are a mat and a pair of dumbbells.

"I just like the creativity," Camm said. "It's refreshing ... People meet people. It has a different vibe than indoors."
