Joan Skokowski (nee Lees) died peacefully on June 1, 2012, with her family present at her side, age 76 years. Born in Philadelphia, Joan was a resident of Riverton, NJ. Beloved wife of Joseph Skokowski, married for 52 years. Loving mother of Donna L. Johnson (Earl) of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Joseph S. (Eliza Hoover) of Jamaica Plain, MA. Adoring grandmother of Sophie Skokowski, and sister of Connie Deni of Kimberton, PA and the late Ruth Martosella, with many loving nieces and nephews. Joan was known for her beautiful gardens and many people would stop by to admire them.  Relatives and Friends are invited to Joan's Life Celebration at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson at 1200 Route 130 North on Wednesday June 6, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. till 11:30 followed by her Memorial Service at 11:30.
