These Events Are Happening This Weekend In Burlington County

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Here's a list of upcoming events in Burlington County, courtesy of our friends at Visit South Jersey, the official Destination Marketing Organization for Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem counties, and the Outer Coast Plain Wine Region in South Jersey.

The Whitesbog Preservation Trust will host a Moonlight Walk from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday night, starting at the General Store. Come explore the village and the bogs by moon light, this special opportunity is scheduled on or as close to the full moon as possible. An experienced guide will share insights about Whitesbog and the nature that surrounds us. Snacks will be available afterward. All walks are 3-5 miles in length. Trail paths are sandy and can be bumpy or wet. Dress is weather appropriate. Bug spray, sturdy shoes and a flashlight to check for potholes in the path and water are also recommended. $10 per person suggested donation. Participants should arrive early to meet the group and check in. Participants should wear a mask at check-in, and when close to others. The Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown hosts the Kevin Quigley Solo Exhibition: Ring-A-Ding-Ding! through Sept. 17. Kevin Quigley's work is a colorful and active exhibition of oil paintings portraying scenes of everyday life in a humorous way. The Artist Reception is 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 21. Opening for the season May 8th, Burlington County operates a weekly community farmers market that features more than 30 vendors. The market is an extension of the county's farmland preservation goals in that it provides opportunities for local farmers to direct market their products at retail prices.
