Virtua Named One Of America's Best Employers By Forbes

Forbes has recognized Virtua Health as one of America’s Best Employers for 2021.Virtua is one of five health care systems in New Jersey to be included on Forbes’ list for the second year in a row.

“In a time of so many challenges and unprecedented change, to see Virtua's culture and commitment to being “Here for Good” resonating through the endorsement of our colleagues is very rewarding and uplifting,” Virtua Health President/CEO Dennis W. Pullin said. “The fact that Virtua is being recognized for a second consecutive year is a true testament to the 15,000 professionals who show up for the community and for each other and make an important difference in this region.”

To compile their third annual list, Forbes partnered with Statista, a market research company. From October 2020 through June 2021, surveys were given on a rolling basis to 80,000 Americans working for organizations with at least 500 employees. The surveys were anonymous to encourage contributors to share their true opinions. The final list contains those employers who received the most recommendations.

New Jersey’s list of Best Employers consists of 90 companies—many of them major global brands.

“I am encouraged to see other health systems acknowledged on this list as the pandemic has highlighted the collective good of those who choose a career in service to others,” Pullin said.

Virtua Health was also recently recognized as one of Philadelphia Business Journal's Best Places to Work for the 15th time.
