Young Firebugs Charged in Palmyra: Police
Police say a group of juveniles started a small fire in a township park last week.

A group of juveniles landed themselves in hot water (pun intended; read on) after giving a lame excuse for starting a small fire in a Palmyra park, police said.
Palmyra Police responded to Legion Field just before 11 p.m. last Saturday to investigate a report that juveniles were lighting a fire at the field. Upon arriving, the officers discovered that the juveniles had started a small fire inside an empty concrete water fountain, according to a report. The youngsters told police they had started the fire because they were cold and were trying to get warm.
Palmyra Fire Department also responded to extinguish the fire.
