$25 Collingswood Cash Offered For COVID-19 Vaccinations
Collingswood officials are offering $25 in Collingswood Cash as an extra incentive to those who get vaccinated at a clinic on Friday.
COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — Collingswood residents have the chance to get vaccinated against the coronavirus and make some money at the same time.
Collingswood officials are offering $25 in Collingswood Cash as an extra incentive to those who get vaccinated at the COVID-19 vaccination clinic that will take place in the Collingswood High School Cafeteria from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.
The incentive is open to all Collingswood residents and students enrolled in Collingswood schools.

“All residents ages 12 and older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine,” officials said in the announcement. “COVID remains a concern for our community. We encourage all residents to consider this vital health safeguard for their children and families.”
Residents must bring a valid form of government-issued identification, and residents under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Pre-registration is highly encouraged, and can be done here.

The clinic is being held as Camden County officials announced that the presence of the delta variant in the county had more than doubled in two weeks.

Camden County has also resumed reporting the number of new coronavirus cases reported in the county. Eighteen new cases were reported in Camden County on Tuesday.
As of Tuesday, there have been 49,944 coronavirus cases and 1,236 coronavirus-related deaths in Camden County since the pandemic began in March 2020.
As of Tuesday, 296,173 Camden County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 269,646 are fully vaccinated. More information regarding vaccination rates throughout the county and available on the state's COVID-19 dashboard at covid19.nj.gov.
“Headlines from around the country are noting the rise in COVID-19 cases since June,” Camden County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. said. “The fact remains that the vast majority of these cases are among individuals who have not gotten vaccinated. Protecting yourself is as easy as one shot and a ten-minute observation period. Do not wait until this disease affects your family to get vaccinated.”
