Parts of Newton Lake Breach Bank
Heavy rains are expected through Sunday and into Monday.
The steady, and oftentimes very heavy, rainfall Sunday has caused parts of to overflow its banks.
Minor flooding conditions were spotted at the so-called "second lake" between Lees Lane and Beetlewood Avenue, and the "third lake" between Beetlewood and the White Horse Pike.
Low-lying areas of grass between the street and water already were under water. In some places, overflow from the lake rose to meet the flooded grassy areas.

Collingswood and Camden County, like most areas in South Jersey, are under a severe thunderstorm warning, flood warning and flash flood watch. Flash floods can occur when sudden, heavy rainfall happens. The watches and warnings are in effect through Sunday night.
Rainfall is expected to continue through Sunday and into Monday. Several inches may fall before the storm system departs.
