What is Dick's House of Sport? It's like a Dick's Sporting Goods but supersized and complete with recreational facilities. The complex at Cherry Hill Mall will offer a climbing wall, simulated golf bays, and a multi-sport cage to test out equipment for baseball, softball, lacrosse and soccer. It will also have an outdoor track and field.
The business will take the place of the mall lot's longtime office building, which was demolished. More info.
Texas Roadhouse
Where: 970 Route 73 North, Marlton (former TGI Fridays)
Burlington County's first Texas Roadhouse is on its way. It will take the former home of TGI Fridays in Marlton, which closed about two years ago. The new restaurant is projected to open Feb. 16, according to the Texas Roadhouse website.
Angelo's Pizzeria
Where: 310 Black Horse Pike, West Collingswood Heights (former DiNic's)
After taking their talents to South Philly, Angelo's is coming back to South Jersey. Angelo's first opened in Haddonfield in 2013, but it closed five years later when they brought their award-winning pizzas and cheesesteaks to Philadelphia.
The eatery has boomed in the City of Brotherly Love, and now they're opening another location in the West Collingswood Heights section of Haddon Township. It will replace Di'nics Roast Pork & Beef, which closed this summer. Angelo's hasn't revealed when it might open, but their website says it's coming soon.
Community House Brewery
Where: Community House of Moorestown (16 E Main St.)
King's Road Brewing Company will open a third location, with a microbrewery coming to Moorestown. The working title has been Community House Brewery, since it will occupy part of Moorestown's Community House — a century-old mansion that's long functioned as an event space.
King's Road has breweries in Haddonfield and Medford. The Moorestown location is set to open in early 2026. More info.
