PATCO Beefs Up Police Presence At Its Stations, On Its Trains
The entity made the decision to do so after Tuesday's shooting at a subway station in the New York City area.

SOUTH JERSEY — PATCO has increased its police presence at its stations and on its trains after Tuesday’s shooting in New York City’s subway system.
“Out of an abundance of caution, PATCO has increased our police presence at stations,” Mike Williams, a PATCO spokesperson told Patch.
“We ask riders to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity utilizing our ‘Look Up. Speak Up’ app,” he continued. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those impacted by [Tuesday] morning’s events at a Brooklyn subway station.

Tuesday’s subway attack left 10 people shot and 13 injured, Patch reported. As of Wednesday morning, the New York City area’s subway system was running at full service and the shooter had not been caught.
