Mount Laurel, NJSamaritan recently held their 34th annual golf tournament, “Drive FORE! A Good Cause,” at Little Mill Country Club in Marlton. Presented by The Richardson Family Dealerships, this year’s tournament raised a record-breaking $229,000+ to support Samaritan’s continuum of life-enhancing services. The tournament also set a new benchmark for its Lexus Champions for Charity event, sponsored by Lexus of Cherry Hill, which offered golfers the opportunity for an exclusive chance to play at the famous Pebble Beach golf course in California and saw unprecedented participation in its online auction which featured exclusive rounds of golf, sports tickets and a variety of exciting prizes.

“Our Drive FORE! A Good Cause golf tournament continues to support Samaritan’s comprehensive family of services,” said Phillip W. Heath, president and CEO of Samaritan. “We are beyond grateful for our generous golfers, volunteers, sponsors, especially The Richardson Family Dealerships and our incredible golf committee, led by returning co-chairs Cliff Mancine and Roy Fazio, for making this year’s event one to remember. Because of you, Samaritan is able to provide expert, compassionate care to more than 11,000 patients, clients and their families each year!”

Founded in 1980, Samaritan has provided compassionate care to generations of South Jersey families as a leader in home-based primary care, palliative medicine, hospice care, grief support, social connection initiatives and complex illness care.
