Wanted in Camden County for Drug Distro, Reputed Bloods Member Caught in NY

An alleged drug dealer and member of the Bloods street gang who was wanted by the Camden County Sheriff's Department was caught in upstate New York Monday, syracuse.com reported.

Lamont E. Tomlinson, 26, of Pennsauken, was arrested by the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office at an apartment complex about 15 miles northwest of Syracuse, NY, according to the report.

Tomlinson failed to appear in New Jersey Superior Court earlier this year to face a charge of distributing heroin or cocaine, the Camden County Sheriff's Office said in April.

The Camden sheriff warned that Tomlinson had a history of violence and was part of the Bloods, which has ties to Camden City's drug trade.

Another of Tomlinson's alleged associates, Collingswood resident Jamarvis Green, 25, pleaded guilty to second-degree racketeering and third-degree distribution of cocaine in June 2012.

Two Cherry Hill residents who were also part of the gang face significant prison time for their roles running PCP, cocaine and heroin into the city.

Kyle Ogletree, 29, who has addresses in Cherry Hill and Camden, admitted to running a Bloods set that commanded a drug network in Camden, and could spend 15 years in prison. 

One of his suppliers, Lovell Venable, 35, was sentenced for his crimes, and will be in prison for the next 13 years.
