2 Car Burglaries In Cranford Last Week, Suspect Arrested: Police
The burglaries occurred on Sylvester Street and Elizabeth Avenue on Sunday, according to Cranford Police.
CRANFORD, NJ — Cranford Police are investigating two car burglaries that occurred on Sunday, according to a recent announcement.
The two burglaries occurred on Sylvester Street and Elizabeth Avenue, according to police. A suspect was arrested in connection with these crimes, police said.
The first burglary took place at around 3:30 a.m. on the 300 block of Elizabeth Avenue, according to police. The incident was captured on the homeowner's Ring camera, patrol units initiated an investigation. It was then turned over to detectives from the Investigative Division.

Shortly after the initial incident, police a second homeowner on Sylvester Street reported a burglary to their car.
The Police Department also recovered a person's purse from the incident and are looking to return it to its owner. Click here for an image of the purse.
