25 Union County Kids To Perform In 'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown'

UNION COUNTY, NJ — Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang are inviting locals to watch as they sing and dance in the musical production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."

The production is presented Front & Center Performing Arts in Morristown, and the show features a cast of talented young performers from local New Jersey towns — including 18 kids from Springfield, seven kids from Millburn/Short Hills and others from Berkeley Heights, Cranford, Garwood, Summit and Union.

Audience members of all age are invited to see Charles Schulz’s beloved Peanuts comic strip come to life on stage.

“Charles M. Schulz once said, ‘All children are peanuts. They’re delightful, funny, irresistible, and wonderfully unpredictable,’ Creative Director at Front & Center Julie Celeste-Lira said. "He was absolutely right. I am so excited for the audience both new to Charlie Brown and his friends, and those who have loved him for years, to jump into this nostalgic comic strip with the Front & Center Peanuts gang!”

Show dates will be on Friday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 14 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The performance is located at Saint Elizabeth University in Dolan Performance Hall at 2 Convent Road in Morristown.
