December Serenade at CDC Theatre

Fund Raiser and Silent Auction of Broadway Memorabilia

(Melody Lieberman)

Are you in the mood for a warm, wintery cabaret? How about if we sweeten the deal by telling you it’s for a great cause?
On Saturday, Dec. 20, CDC Theatre will present “December Serenade,” a cabaret directed by Susan Speidel and with music direction by Joseph Regan. The show will feature performances by CDC favorites, both past and present. And it’s all to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
The show is being co-produced by members Elle Michaeli and Jack Ennis. Jack is a seventh grader at Hillside Avenue School and has appeared in several children’s and main stage productions at CDC over the years. He has chosen to raise money for Broadway Cares as his social action project.
In addition to the fantastic talent on stage, attendees will be able to make silent auction bids on a number of pieces of Broadway memorabilia, including signed posters and Playbills from star-studded productions like “Hamilton” and “Good Night and Good Luck.”
“December Serenade” is on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. It’s pay what you can and cash at the door. If you are unable to attend and want to make a donation, visit https://donate.broadwaycares.org/fundraiser/6822578.
