Coffeehouse Music, Writing Workshop This Week

Here’s a look at what’s happening in Cranford this week.

BOE: The Board of Ed meets on Monday night at 8 p.m. at Lincoln School. This is the last meeting of the summer… school is just around the corner beginning on Sept. 9!

Fall sports: We’ll take a look at when the first big games of the season are happening and follow it up with all the Fall 2013 sports schedules.

Live Music: On Tuesday night beginning at 7 p.m. Cranford residents, “Around the Corner” and guest electric bassist will perform at Southside Roast. Grab some dessert and enjoy the show!

Writing Camp: There’s still time to register your 7th or 8th grader for Friday’s fall writing workshop. Email Chris Gilmartin at gilmartins@yahoo.com to register. The workshop is taught on Aug. 30 by award-winning English teacher, Mary Mangiacotti.
