Democrats Prunty, Curran Prevail In Cranford Election, County Clerk Says
Patch has updated the vote tallies for the Cranford Township Committee and Board of Education races this year.

CRANFORD, NJ — The polls are now closed for the General Election, and vote tallies are in.
Democrat Mayor Kathleen Miller Prunty and running mate Terrence Curran have ousted their Republican opponents, Mary O'Connor and Chrissa Stulpin in the Cranford Township Committee race, according to unofficial results from the Union County Clerk.

William Thilly also ran as an independent for Cranford's Township Committee.

Susan Shaw, Brett Dreyer, Patrick Lynch and Jessica Soltys have won the four open seats on Cranford's Board of Education this year, according to unofficial results from the Union County Clerk.
Candidates for the school board include Brian Lopez, Christine Bradley and Jessica Soltys who are running for a two-year term, as well as Susan Shaw, Brett Dreyer, Thomas Grasso, Patrick Lynch and Francis N. Riccio who are vying for three, three-year term seats.
The vote tallies remain unofficial until they are certified later by the Union County Clerk.
