Cranford Awarded $2,000 Sustainable Jersey Grant
The grant will be used to start a backyard composting program called "My Green Gardens."
My Green Cranford in conjunction with the Cranford Recycling Department has been awarded $2,000 Sustainable Jersey Grant. The grant allocations will be used to start a Backyard Composting Program. This program will be called My Green Gardens, and slotted to begin spring 2013.
Training courses will be offered to Cranford residents at the Community Center free of charge Saturday, May 18 and June 15, from 10-11 a.m.
Currently, My Green Gardens will be offering a limited number of bins at a reduced rate of $48.75 at the May 18 training session. This offer will also include a free kitchen pail.
