Deadly Christmas Eve Crash Kills 22-Year-Old From Union County
Another driver was also hurt.
UNION COUNTY, NJ — A man from Elizabeth is dead after a crash along the Garden State Parkway on Wednesday afternoon, State Police said.
At around 2:15, troopers responded to the northbound area of mile marker 132.2 in Woodbridge Township for a report of a car crash.
According to preliminary evidence, Li Wei Lin, 22, was driving a Honda on the mile marker 132 entrance ramp when he ran off the side of the road and hit a guardrail.

The car then kept moving on the ramp and entered the northbound lanes of the Garden State Parkway running perpendicular to traffic.
Margaret Quinn, 57 of Barnegat, was driving a Lexus SUV north and hit the Honda. The Honda then hit a concrete barrier.

Alan Tinquist, 74 of Beach Haven, was driving a Dodge Ram truck north on the Garden State Parkway and hit the back of the Lexus.
Lin died as a result of the crash and Tinquist was left with minor injuries.
The crash is still under review.
