Cranford Children Find Success in Entrepreneurism

The Pinto children each created their own businesses.

At just 12 and 10, Nicholas and Francesca Pinto of Cranford already have seen the inner workings of running their own businesses.

Nicholas is both the creator and CEO of LB Scoots, a scooter company that began with the creation of signature scooter wheels, but has expanded to all scooter parts. Additionally, Nicholas formed a scooter team from throughout the East Coast that competes to raise money for less fortunate animals.

In 2012, Nicholas started LB Scoots from a need, after his scooter wheels would constantly break. He set out to create more durable wheels. His 2012 profits were already at $100,000, according to the Pinto family.
