Cranford Summer Sounds Concert Canceled Due To Stormy Weather
Thursday night's concert was canceled due to the extreme heat and thunderstorms predicted in the forecast, Downtown Cranford said.

CRANFORD, NJ — Due to the extreme heat and stormy weather in the forecast, Thursday night's Summer Sounds concert in Cranford has been canceled.
According to the National Weather Service, Cranford will see a high of 99 degrees with heat index values as high as 104. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are also predicted before 2 a.m.
The band Big Train was set to perform at Eastman Clock Plaza Thursday night. Next week, on Aug. 11, The Genesee Stills Band — an American grass roots rock & roll band — is set to take the stage.
