CRANFORD, NJ — Cranford has recently been a popular spot for film productions, as many celebrities have been spotted in town and streets have been blocked off for filming.

The local French pastry shop, Délice Macarons, is the most recent filming location in Cranford, as a scene for the upcoming film "Sweethearts" was recently shot there, according to Downtown Cranford.

Back in February, actors Diane Keaton and William H. Macy were seen shooting for the film "Maybe I Do" at Craven BBQ.

The newest film, "Sweethearts," will be directed by "Dollface" creator Jordan Weiss and will feature actors Kiernan Shipka of "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" and "Mad Men," as well as Nico Hiraga of "Moxie" and "Booksmart," according to Deadline.

The film tells a comical story of two college freshman who decided to stay with their high school sweethearts and now have to pull a "Turkey Dump" and break up with them over "Drunksgiving" — the chaotic night before Thanksgiving in their hometown.

Délice Bakery, where a scene for the film was shot, specializes in making authentic French pastries like macarons, croissants, Maman cakes and more. You can check out all their delicious desserts on Facebook.
