CRANFORD, NJ — As one restaurant closes in downtown Cranford, another opens.

A new Thai restaurant is slated to open in the next months at 103 Miln Street, according to a Facebook post from Downtown Cranford.

The Thai restaurant will replace Bel Giardino, an Italian restaurant that offered classic pastas, pizzas and sub sandwiches. In the comments of Downtown Cranford's post, some residents said they were sorry to see Bel Giardino go.

One commenter praised the restaurant's gluten free pizza.

Currently, there is one other Thai restaurant in Cranford, Siam Inn, which is located on North Avenue W.
