Services Set For 2 NJ Teen Girls Killed On E-Bikes

Multiple services will be available for friends and family to honor their memories.

CRANFORD, NJ — Maria Niotis and Isabella Salas, the two 17-year-old girls killed on Monday while riding electronic bikes in Cranford, will be remembered by loved ones and friends at services over the next few days.

Friends and relatives of Maria Niotis are invited to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Union (712 Rahway Ave.) on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. for visitation. A mass will be held on Friday at the church beginning at 10 a.m.

The families of Isabella Rose Salas will welcome guests to the visitation on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Dooley Funeral Home in Cranford (218 North Ave. W.). Funeral services will follow on Oct. 6 at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield (1100 East Broad St.).

Both Isabella and Maria will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.

"Gentle, and will forever be deeply loved"

Isabella Rose Salas is being remembered by friends and family as having the "voice of an angel."

The lifelong Cranford resident, born in Edison, was a talented singer. According to her obituary, Isabella was a part of many clubs and organizations, including the choir and theater group at Cranford High School.

She also had a love for animals and volunteered with Cranford Family Care.

Isabella's family asks anyone wishing to honor her memory to make a donation to either Cranford Family Care or the ASPCA.

"She will be dearly missed"

Maria Niotis is being remembered by loved ones and friends as a driven young woman who looked to begin a career in cosmetology after graduating high school.

Maria was born in Rhodes, Greece and was a lifelong resident of Cranford.

In her obituary, her family asks anyone looking to honor her memory make a donation directly to her parents.
