SoRo Comedy Night, Township Ordinances Introduced This Week

What's happening this week in Cranford?

A look at what's happening in Cranford during the week of Nov. 10.

Meetings:
The Township of Cranford will host its workshop meeting on Nov. 11 where the Hillside Ave Tunnel and De-silting and de-snagging projects will be discussed. Also, the proposed ordinances on Adams Avenue Field and booting vehicles on private property will be discussed.

At the Township’s official meeting on Nov. 12, a resolution to hire a new Township Administrator will be read along with others.

Sawyer Sewing:
Meg Sawyer, a 20-year-old college student from Cranford, has created her own sewing company that sells products in local Cranford stores and online on Etsy. We will talk to Meg and hear more about the company early this week.

Blind Masseuse: Also, we’ll speak to a blind masseuse thriving at Elements Massage Studio in Cranford. Check back for these stories on Cranford Patch!

Comedy Night: Four comedians, featuring two Cranford residents will perform at Southside Roast at 8 p.m. on Friday night.

Enchanting Ireland: A music slide and lecture program, “Enchanting Ireland” presented by Dr. James P. Kane at the Cranford Community Center. The event is produced by Friends of the Cranford Public Library.

Garretson Financial will also host another free college financial aid seminar on Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m. More, here

On Friday, the Cranford Cougars Football team will play Palisades Park in the  NJSIAA North 2, Group 3 Playoffs - Round 1.
