WESTFIELD, NJ — A car was stolen after a home was broken into early Thursday morning, Westfield Police said.
At around 3:30 a.m., a blue 2024 Land Rover was stolen from a driveway in the 400 block of Colonial Ave. A key fob was stolen from the home.
Someone reported seeing the vehicle along 20th Street in Newark, but it still has not been recovered, authorities said.

"Vehicle thefts are on the increase in the area, as is consistent with previous years during holiday times," added Westfield Police.
Anyone who sees suspicious activity should call 9-1-1 immediately.
