These Wawa Stores In Union County Are Giving Away Free Reusable Bags
Ahead of the NJ plastic bag ban that begins on Wednesday, Wawa is giving out free reusable bags to its customers.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — As New Jersey will ban the use plastic bags beginning on Wednesday for all retailers, Wawa is giving away free reusable bags to all of its customers while supplies last.
Starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, every Wawa store in Union County will be giving away 1,000 free reusable bags Wawa’s 272 New Jersey stores will distribute a total of almost 272,000 free reusable bags to customers throughout the state.

- Rahway Wawa: 280 St Georges Ave
- Plainfield Wawa: 1470 South Ave

- Roselle Wawa: 1187 E St Georges Ave
As part of its "Skip the Bag for Good" initiative, Wawa is working to educate both customers and store associates on the new legislation, as well as the impact that single-use plastic bags have on the environment and the benefits of reusable bags.
