Tickets Still On Sale For Cranford's Souperhero Stroll

CRANFORD, NJ — The popular Souperhero Stroll, where people can taste test soups from local businesses, as well as admire balloon sculptures of superheroes, is coming soon to Cranford.

Tickets are still available for the event that will take place on Jan. 14 and 15. This event has sold out in previous years, so people are encouraged to get tickets while they are still available.

Tickets can be purchased here: https://bit.ly/3CgGhVQ, and proceeds from the event benefit Cranford High School Project Graduation — a drug and alcohol-free post graduation celebration for the high school seniors put on by a committee of parent volunteers in conjunction with the Parent Teacher Student Association.

This year's Souperhero Stroll has over 20 participating restaurants offering a variety of soups including avgolemono, New England clam chowder, chicken tortilla soup, Tom Kha Gai (Thai coconut chicken soup), loaded potato soup, broccoli cheddar soup and much more, according to Downtown Cranford.

Kids are encouraged to dress up in superhero costumes or wear their favorite capes. This event will take place rain, snow or shine.

No refunds will be available after purchasing tickets.

Organizers will also be collecting canned soup to donate to local food banks. Their goal is to get to 2023 cans to celebrate the CHS Class of 2023. Any donation is welcomed and it can be brought to registration the day of the event.

Attendees can pick up their pre-purchased tickets on the day of the event starting at 11:30 a.m. at Eastman Clock Plaza (across from Track 5 Coffee). Soup tastings will end at 4 p.m., so people are advised to arrive with plenty of time to sample all the selections.

In addition, next Saturday, local business Maktoob by Lola will be hosting a "Color Your Own Superhero Mug" event. There will be two sessions, and in addition to the mug, participants will also get complimentary hot cocoa and enjoy a superhero show.
