Cranford Boys' Varsity Baseball Defeats Roselle Park 5-1 in UC Tournament

The top seeded cougars beat Roselle Park at 1 p.m. on April 27 in the first round of the Union County Baseball Tournament.


The Cranford Boys' Varsity team, who are currently the top seed, defeated Roselle Park 5-1 on Saturday afternoon, according to nj.com.

The Cougars will move onto the Quarterfinal round on May 1. All rounds take place at the home field of the higher seed, therefore the game will be in Cranford.

Additional seeds include, according to nj.com: Scotch Plains-2, Westfield-3, Gov. Livingston-4, Elizabeth-5, Union-6, Dayton-7, Union Catholic-8, Summit-9 and Linden-10.
