2 Minors Come Forward Against Middlesex Man Charged With Sex Assault
The two survivors came forward after Spotswood resident Raymond Remus was arrested and charged on Aug. 22, authorities said.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — A Spotswood man is facing additional sexual assault charges after more minor survivors have come forward reporting abuse, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Officer in Charge Captain Edward Schapley of the Spotswood Police said.
Raymond Remus, 45, was arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child on Aug. 22.
Det. John Fedak of the Spotswood Police Department and Det. Ryan Kirsh of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office began investigating the allegations.

Two additional juveniles were identified, and based upon further investigation, Remus was additionally charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault and two counts of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child based upon sexual conduct with juveniles under the age of 18, Ciccone said.
No details are available on when and where the assault took place.

Remus is currently at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center as a result of his pre-trial detention hearing.
