Brush and Leaf Pick Up Now on Recycling Day

Because of the cleanup required from Hurricane Sandy, the township announced today that it will modify its yard waste pick up schedule.

Bagged leaves, brush, limbs and wood will be picked up from your neighborhood along with your regularly scheduled recycling collection.

Please place these items separately, not mixed, curbside. If you hire a contractor to remove a tree or large limb on your property, the contractor may dispose of the wood at the leaf composting facility on Edgeboro Road at no cost.

Contact the Recycling Center at 732-432-6011 to schedule. Please be aware that the resulting cost savings for wood removal should be passed along to the homeowner, and you should not be charged for disposal.
