CAVA Sets Official Opening Date In East Brunswick
The Mediterranean restaurant will officially open Han. 31, with a charity preview event taking place Jan. 30.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Mediterranean restaurant Cava is all set to open in East Brunswick at the end of January.
Located in Midstate Mall, the restaurant is officially opening Friday, Jan. 31.
A preview event will take place on Thursday, Jan. 30, where the restaurant will partner with a nonprofit to fight hunger on a local level at the Community Day event.

On Jan. 30, from 10:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., Cava will welcome guests by giving them a free meal and matching monetary donations to Food Rescue US’s Bridgewater location up to $1,000.

Cava will occupy 3,600 square feet at Midstate Mall. The East Brunswick location will serve delicious and healthy Mediterranean food.
Guests can enjoy chef-curated or fully customized bowls and pitas, including three new chef-curated items launched in partnership with track gold medalist Gabby Thomas.
Daily operating hours are 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.
CAVA was founded in 2010 by Ike Grigoropoulos, Dimitri Moshovitis, Ted Xenohristos, and Brett Schulman. The first restaurant opened in Bethesda, MD, in 2011. From there, they began to expand, and today, CAVA has locations in around 26 states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, and Tennessee.
In New Jersey, they have nine locations – Wayne, Secaucus, Ramsey, Paramus, Moorestown, Lawrenceville, Jersey City, Edgewater, and Bridgewater.
