Celebrate the Strawberry With Giamarese

Burgers, dogs and strawberry shortcake usher in the harvesting of strawberries on .

Come by this weekend and next for the Second Annual Strawberry Days event hosted by Milltown’s Our Lady of Lourdes to benefit the school.

On Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20, and again Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Giamarese, visitors will be treated to a celebration of the spring strawberry harvest with a variety of treats. If you can’t make it, stop by all spring and pick your own. On weekends there will be wagon rides to and from the strawberry field for $6 (adults) which includes a quart sized container and a ticket. Boxes are available for additional strawberries and are charged per pound.

Pick-your-own strawberries on Tuesdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Guests should stop in the Farm Market before heading out to the fields. Field fresh strawberries are also available in the Giamarese Farm Market during the same days and times.
