Celebrate 'War of the Worlds' Anniversary Wednesday
What you need to know for Wednesday.

Get in the Halloween spirit by celebrating the 75th anniversary of Orson Wells' infamous War of the Worlds broadcast radio broadcast this evening.
There are no events celebrating the anniversary directly in town, but the Grover's Mill Coffee cafe at the South Brunswick Public Library will host a special event this evening to celebrate the iconic event. Elsewhere in town, there's a chance of rain showers today as the temperature creeps up towards 60 degrees again.
Here's what else is going on in East Brunswick today.
1. Today's forecast calls for cloudy skies with a high of 59 degrees and a 20 percent chance of rain. Overnight, the temperature will dip to 44 degrees with a 10 percent chance of rain.
2. Check out Mars Madness in the Cafe tonight at 7 p.m. at the South Brunswick Public Library cafe, located at 110 Kingston Lane in Monmouth Junction. Frank O'Brien, an NJ Solar System Abassador and author of "The Apollo Guidance Computer," will be talking about the 50-year long exploration of Mars. He will discuss what we have learned from research on Mars and what the future holds for Mars.
