Celebrating Spring in India, at the Library

Approximately 200 people came to the Saturday, March 24, for the second installment in the “Glimpses of India” series, “Celebration of Spring.”

The event showcased major festivals that mark the welcoming of the spring season in India.  While the names and timing of festivals vary from region to region, the underlying spirit remains the same.

The program was sponsored by the India Association of Garden State, the Indian Cultural Society of East Brunswick, Agraj Seva Kendra and the East Brunswick Public Library.
