Two men rear-ended a car on the New Jersey Turnpike, then opened fire on it, State Police said Saturday.

Charges Filed In Death Of 7 Geese

The Spotswood Police Department has charged a person in the death of seven geese, police said Friday. The incident took place on July 14, when a vehicle struck multiple geese crossing the road.

The suspect faces seven counts of animal cruelty along with violations of New Jersey Fish and Wildlife regulations. Motor vehicle citations related to the incident will also be issued, police said.

Child Hit By Car In Aberdeen

A 7-year-old girl was hit by a car Friday morning in Aberdeen, police said.

The child was struck by a car at 8:16 a.m. Friday, while attempting to cross W. Prospect Avenue at Edgeview Road. The driver of the car that hit her stopped and remained at the scene. The child is currently recovering from the incident.

Motorcyclist Dies After Hitting Telephone Pole

A motorcyclist from Marlton was killed after his vehicle veered off the highway and hit a telephone pole in Burlington County on Saturday, according to media reports.

The incident took place near Milepost 7, County Road 532 in Tabernacle Township shortly before 8:30 p.m. Thomas William, 47, was riding west on the highway when his motorcycle ran off the road and struck the pole, reported NJ.com. He died after being thrown from the vehicle.

Motorcyclist Killed After Vehicle Hits Rock

A 20-year-old Montague Township man was killed Saturday night in a motorcycle crash, according to media reports.

Clayton Woodley of Milford, PA, was driving south on Route 23 near milepost 49 when his motorcycle ran off the highway to the right and struck a rock, ejecting him, NJ.com reported.

3-Car Crash leaves 1 Dead, Several Injured

A three-vehicle collision in Gowanus on Sunday evening killed one man and injured four others when one car burst into flames, media reported.

The 6:30 p.m. crash occurred when a northbound Honda Odyssey struck a Mercedes crossing on 9th Street, sending the Mercedes into a Dodge. One vehicle immediately caught fire, requiring FDNY crews to extract victims from the burning wreckage, according to News 12.

Arturo Alberto Baez Cordero, 34, of New Jersey, who was driving the Mercedes, died at the hospital. A 38-year-old woman from the Honda remains in critical condition, while two other Honda passengers and the 49-year-old Dodge driver are stable.
