East Brunswick is providing residents with a convenient way to dispose of the trees. The township is collecting Christmas trees the whole of January, during recycling week.
Presidents need to place their trees on the curbside on Sunday night during their recycling week in January.

But before that, they need to remove all decorations, lights, tinsel, stands, nails, and tree bags.
These trees are recycled by chipping them into mulch.
