Construction Of Athletics Complex Progresses In East Brunswick Schools

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – A brand new school year has begun for students and construction work is on in full swing at the school district.

The construction of the softball and field hockey complex progressing well, according to district officials.

During the Aug. 27 Board of Education meeting, district administrators provided a look of the work so far completed.

Work at the junior varsity and varsity softball fields is progressing at a good pace. Currently, the fields have been equipped with a dugout.

The project also includes four batting cages and a press box.

Additional work remains to be done on the stairs and access ramp.

“There is still much to do before the project is completed but we are approaching the tail end and we look forward to having our girls teams enjoy this new facility,” Superintendent Victor Valeski said.
