Craft Fair, Used Clothing Drive Highlight East Brunswick Weekend

Saturday

NBWC Annual Craft-Vendor Show & Tricky Tray, 1740 Route 130 North (OLOP Parish Center), North Brunswick, 9 a.m.

Join the community in shopping for unique holiday gifts sold by over 75 crafters and vendors at annual fair.  Find towel cakes, nightlights, jewelry, fashion accessories made with unusual materials, handbags, and so much more.  The kitchen is selling a limited lunch menu and coffee and desserts are always abundant.  This year's Tricky Tray has over 40 items, which include items such as a TV, a Florida vacation, theatre tickets, themed baskets, Disney Park Passes, and retail gift certificates.  Raffle tickets will be called around 1:30 p.m. and you must be present to win.  Admission is free.

St. Bart's Buffalos Clothing Drive, 1 Kimberly Rd, East Brunswick, 9 a.m.

All items distributed to help those in need, with St. Bart's travel fund earning 20-cents per pound. Please be sure all items are usable and packed in plastic bags.

Honoring Those Who Serve, East Brunswick Library, 2 p.m.

A unique opportunity to hear both authentic Civil War era songs and original compositions to explore how popular songs shaped and reflected the sentiments and events of the time and how these songs continue to resonate emotionally among Civil War enthusiasts today. Performers Linda Wilkins and Chuck Winch use authentic and reproduction period instruments, including banjo, fiddle, guitar, and bones, and dress in period clothing for the presentation. Admission is free.
