Daniel Pearl Education Center Hosting 'Battle of the Boroughs'
Doo wop music, New York inspired treats and more on Nov. 2.

Get in a New York state of mind on Nov. 2 at the Daniel Pearl Education Center in East Brunswick.
The center will host a "Battle of the Boroughs" fundraiser that will feature music, laughs, memories and great friends. The event will include performances by doo wop group Sentimental Reasons, and other New York City-related music, including Simon & Garfunkel, Barbra Streisand, Dion and more.
Noted New York historian Ron Schweiger will share facts and photos about the Boroughs, and there will be a "Best of NY" competition. New York Comedian Ben Rosenfeld will also perform.
New York treats including pizza, pretzels, cheese cake, egg creams and more will be available, along with door prizes too.The Daniel Pearl Education Center is located at Temple B'nai Shalom in East Brunswick. Tickets cost $30 in advance of $36 at the door.
